MODEL OF LOGISTICS SUPPORT TO MANAGEMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT OWNED REAL ESTATES Stručni rad Real estates owned by local governments in Croatia are a big potential of local economic development. Upgrading the local government real estate management conveys numerous benefits to citizens. Aiming to analyze logistics potential in real estates management and develop a model of logistics support, empirical research of selected cities was performed. In the research participated cities that worked on improving their real estates management. Research results indicated a series of necessary real estates management improvements, such as introducing complete inventories, clarifying ownership status and picking up financial results of real estates. As a precondition to any improvements and the most important element of logistics support, an integral information system, that collects and distributes information and is interconnected to other business systems in a local government, was identified.
