EFFICIENCY OF THE TRANSPORT SECTOR IN CROATIA Izvorni znanstveni članak The transport sector in Croatia includes transport, wharehousing and communication. The analysis covered the efficiency of this sector over the period 1997-2000. The liquidity was negative over the whole period and much of the equity capital was signed up but not paid in. The level of debt was within the usual limits according to the standard rules. The asset management shows that investments occured only at the end of the period and the turn over of the assets became slower.
