Positive results of a concept called “Balanced Scorecard” that have been achieved in developed economies induced the author to investigate its possible implementation in the financial institutions area. Functioning as a base for the implementation of new market-orientated business strategy Model measures performance across four basic perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes and learning and growth.
