Some Main Structural Characteristics by Forms of Ownership and Size of Firms, and Economic Operation of Croatia in 2000

The paper is based on data of entrepreneurs’ statistical reports, and it shows that private sector is dominant in economy of Croatia: at employees 70 percent, income 73 percent and exports 66 percent. The paper shows structure of employment, capital and income, and efficiency of business operation, labour productivity, exports moderation, investments profit, loss and foreign debt of economy of Croatia by forms of ownership and size of firms for entire economy and by economic segments. Compared to 1999 the efficiency of business assets in Croatia increased by 19 percent in 2000. For economy of counties it is shown their significance by main characteristics in Croatia, specialization of structure of employees, efficiency of business operation and exports moderation.
